For the best results, spread mulch 75–100mm deep. This helps suppress weeds, retain moisture and regulate soil temperature.

🌳 Keep Mulch Away from Plant Stems

Leave a 50–100mm gap around tree trunks and plant stems to prevent rot and reduce the risk of pests.

💧 Water Before You Mulch

Water the soil thoroughly before applying mulch. This locks moisture into the ground where your plants need it most.
